As a long-time business member in the DUKE Heights BIA community, Upper Crust was thrilled to sponsor the 2024 Tour de DUKE Heights children’s charity fun ride and race. With the support of everyone involved, we were able to donate hundreds of bikes and helmets to children in the York Centre and Humber River/Black Creek area. Children also received safe biking education as part of the event.
“Family” is the first of our three core tenets (Family — Innovation — Tradition) and our Upper Crust bakery team is like one big family — working together to nourish the nation.
Family to us also means supporting the community. We are privileged for the opportunity to participate and empower our community’s children through this wonderful initiative.
Most of all, we are warmed by the smiles on the children’s faces when they receive their bikes and have the freedom to ride!
